General

Name: Westley Byron Montague
Nicknames (and who is likely to use them): Monty, Captain, Montague, Wes, West
Age: 20
Birthday: June 10 1978
Blood Status: very much a pureblood.

Appearance

Height: 6’0
Weight: 170lbs
Eyes: Cerulean Blue
Hair Colour & Style: Blondish brown, worn a bit long and always perfectly placed.
Skin tone: Normally tan, he spends a lot of time outside with Quidditch and archery and things, it’s very rare that he doesn’t get sun.
Build: Tall, broad shouldered, though his waist is a bit thin, he tapers in quickly with a lot of definition.
Distinguishing Marks: a few scars here and their from Quidditch and the final battle, wears the dark mark on his arm.
Dress Style: dresses sharply no matter where he is going, in nice robes or muggle suits. Occasional when he has to he’ll wear nice muggle clothes, nice cuts- everything he wears fits his shape perfectly.
PB: Chace Crawford
Other: Was overweight as a child, because of it he is rather sensitive being 'fat'. He's not anymore, and he knows it (quite a lot), but he still occasionally is rather uncomfortable with himself. Though he is getting better. He lost the weight right before 4th year, surprising nearly the entire school to the point many didn't even recognize him. (This was the year Verity 'announced' they were dating.)

Health

Disabilities/Handicaps: Nothing too significant, is claustrophobic but tries not to let on.
Health in general – both mental and physical: Physically he’s in top shape, from Quidditch to archery, he is nearly addicted to working out. However, mentally he has all sorts of issues that he tries not to deal with. Becoming a death eater three months before the final battle, he felt pressured from his family (who was being pressured by the Dark Lord), and by his friends who had all nearly joined- the things he saw and did haunt him.
During the two day stint that he was stuck in the Vanishing cabinet has affected him more then he would like to admit (see secrets), and has caused him to be a bit claustrophobic.
Other:

Personality

First Impression (others have of you): Handsome, arrogant, rather put together. He has a smile that can get him out of almost any trouble (and he knows it).
General Behaviour: Rather full of himself, Montague is attractive and knows it. He can be a bit pigheaded and loves to have a good time. He’s good at Quidditch, and got good marks. It’s rare that he ever has anything denied him. Despite all that, he really does have a good heart, he just has been raised to accept nothing but the best and doesn’t understand why that should ever be a problem.
Montague, however, has a desperate need to prove himself. His father has always sort of seen him as a disappointment, even though he is oldest and heir, and behind all the egocentrically airs is rather unconfident. He knows that Geoffrey would love to get a hold on the family fortune if given the chance. Because of all of that, though he does have a good time, he is careful about his reputation.
Strengths: Smart, athletic, he’s particularly outgoing and good at charming people. He learned at a very young age he has one of those smiles that can get him out of trouble easily.
Weaknesses: Has some what of a volatile temper. Tends to yell and punch things and act or speak before thinking. When he’s particularly worked up he will just get up and leave, he doesn’t like to loose an argument and will not deal with one if it doesn’t look like it can be rectified.
Hobbies and/or Habits: His dogs, archery, gambling.
Enjoys: Drinking, women, Quidditch games, poker, pool,
Dislikes: Being told ‘no’, being called stupid.
Other:

Family

Spouse/partner (if applicable): Currently dating Jill Dorny
Children: none.
Parents: Don and Eva Montague
Sibling(s): two younger, Geoffrey and Emmeline
Extended (if applicable): an Aunt Davina (sister to his father, married to Isaac Bones) his cousin is Susan Bones; and an Aunt Athena (sister to his mother) in France.
Bloodline: most definitely, and for many generations back pure.
Family History: His father, upon graduating Hogwarts left for a tour of Europe, sightseeing and generally just having a good time. During that time Don went to Greece and met up with the wily beautiful Eva and the two had a torrid affair for several weeks before Don left again to finish his time and return home. He’d barely made it back from England when he received an urgent owl from Eva saying she was possibly pregnant and in a rush Don went back to Greece to 1- see if it was true, and 2- if it was, marry her (because it simply was not done). It turned out Eva was indeed pregnant and the two had a wedding rather quickly after, moving Eva to England with Don, where they expected the birth of their first child. However, due to some complications in the pregnancy Eva lost the baby, but the two had grown to love one another beyond mere sexual attraction and continued to stay happily married until they finally had Westley and then only a few short years later, Geoffrey. Neither of the boys know of their parents real story, nor is it wide-spread within society. The boys just think their parents fell in love in Greece and after a meaningful courtship through owls, got married (they don’t know about the miscarried child).
Emmeline was more of a happy little accident. Currently she is only six months old, but Westley is terribly enamored with her.
Pets: owns nine dogs. Two greyhounds, a great dane, an English bull dog, two dalmatians, a brittany, a miniature pinscher, and a Yorkshire terrier. All of them are named after one of the nine muses.
Other:

Social/Romantic/Sexual

Close Friendships: Miles Bletchley, Charles Warrington, Adrian Pucey, Terence Higgs
Known Enemies: Weasleys, Verity
Sexual Preference: women, has never been and never will be interested in men.
Turn Ons: blondes, women, curves, breasts, a sharp mouth, a woman that can argue, he has a slight leg fetish
Turn Offs: low class, anyone that smells, overweight people
Past Relationships: Verity O’Shea during Hogwarts.
What they think about sex : Sex is great, it really is; and he likes to have it, but he does have some standards, and prefers it in the scope of a relationship.
…and love: He was in love once, he didn’t like it.
Other:

Magical

Wand Type: 10’, ash, unicorn hair
Magical talents: transfiguration, hexes, jinxes, flying
Magical weaknesses/aversions (what your character can't or won't do): potions, in school only barely managed to scrape by with a charms OWL.
First sign of magic – when and what: After they found out he was allergic to pain potions (see secret) Montague was playing with his father's dogs on the second floor of the Manor, next to the balcony. He tripped and fell off, breaking his elbow where the bone was sticking out of the skin. His mother nearly fainted but she managed to wrap up his arm and get him to St. Mungo's, only when they unraveled his arm, it was fine.
Boggart: Vanishing Cabinet
Knows how to Apparate (y/n): Yes, though didn’t get his license till recently.
Knows how to cast a patronus (y/n – if yes what?): no
Knows how to use the unforgivables (y/n): yes, used the Avada Kedvra once and will never do so again.
Other: After the Vanishing Cabinet incident, he couldn’t stomach apparating again for some time, the feeling reminded him too much of what it felt like to be trapped inside of it, he finally managed to get the license in July of 1997 and passed with flying colors (after all he managed to get out of a broken vanishing cabinet).

Schooling:

Year: (in relation to Harry's year) +2 (Fred and George’s Year)
House Slytherin
Other Affiliations: Inquisitorial Squad, Captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team 1994-6, prefect
Best subject(s): transfiguration, arithmancy, astronomy, history of magic
Poor subject(s): potions, charms, herbology
Electives taken: arithmancy, care of magical creatures, ancient runes
Best Mates: Miles Bletchley, Charles Warrington, Adrian Pucey, Terence Higgs
Romantic interests: Verity O’Shea, Bee Dunstan (not that he ever did or said anything)
OWL’s: Transfiguration, Arithmancy, Astronomy, History of Magic, COMC, Charms
NEWT’s: Transfiguration, Arithmancy, Astronomy, HoM, COMC
Other: During school Montague was very much in love with Verity O'Shea. When she moved in with him and his family their sixth year, he just assumed that they would stay together and live happily ever after. That he would propose to her after leaving Hogwarts and things would just go from there. Life sort of screwed up that fateful night however, when he said those words that, to this day, he didn't mean.

Financial

Place of Residence: Dover, Kent
Current Employment: Dog breeder, and gets an awful lot of money gambling.
Other Alliances or Occupations: An ex-death eater, and currently trying to keep his nose to the ground, so to speak.
Financial Status: Well to do. He not only makes money off his dogs and gambling, but he gets an ‘allowance’ from his mother once a month that is nothing to laugh at.
Family Financial Status: The Montague’s are ridiculously rich. Up with the families such as the Nott’s and the Malfoy’s, people know their name and (used to) have high respect for them. Unlike the Nott’s or the Malfoy’s however, they have never been tied to the Death Eaters (until Westley).
Other: It was a great disappointment to his father that Westley joined the Death Eaters (or more so got caught), particularly considering that his Aunt Davina is married to a Bones, whose family has lost a lot due to that faction.

Current situation

Affiliations and/or Organisations: None now. Used to be a Death Eater. He joined three months before the final battle because he was being pressured by his friends, he barely had the dark mark before the war was over and now regrets that he couldn’t hold off those few months longer.
Feelings on Blood Status: Is borderline. He has low opinions of muggles and muggleborns, and depending on the family dynamic, half-bloods; but he’s not so much a blood purist as the rest of his family or his friends. As long as a marriage or serious relationship would end with pure children, then he sees no issue.
Involvement with War: Was a death eater.
Current Position on the new Ministry: Knows that the laws and government that was run before was out of line, he didn’t complain too much at the time, because it only benefited him- now however, as it’s turned back on him- hates it. He wants the freedom back that he had before.

Finally
What is your character's deepest, darkest secret (one that other game characters probably wouldn't know and that he/she would prefer they didn't find out about)
Also list the names of anyone who might know, or might be suspicious of this knowledge:

- Has violent nightmares about the time he spent in the Vanishing cabinet. Ever since he recovered from the incident he has been terrified of the dark and enclosed spaces and will do nearly anything to get himself out of a situation involving either as quickly as possible.

- Still has strong feelings for Verity O’Shea. He thinks he keeps them well hidden behind a mask of hate, however.

- Is a parselmouth. He clearly understood and knew what Harry Potter was saying to the snake that was attacking that mudblood, but didn’t say anything. He even heard the hissing words in the walls, and for a while was afraid that he was actually the heir to Slytherin and didn’t even know it. (Was actually remarkably terrified as well, knowing Verity’s secret and afraid that in his unconscious he would have her attacked.)

-Montague is deathly allergic to pain potions. It was discovered when he was only 3 years old and had to take one resulting in him almost suffocating, as his throat closed up. As such he cannot take them and so stays away from them at all costs. Most people think he is just trying to 'macho' or some such rubbish, but he just likes the idea of continuing to live. His parents and family would know this, and any of his old Professors at Hogwarts (Pomfrey especially). However he refuses to have anyone else know, he doesn't want the knowledge used against him.
